A joyful HELLO to all of you! Great to see you again!
Now that Easter is literally just around the corner, I tried out a very Easter-like recipe which I want to share with you today. And as I showed my daughter her Easter bunny in the backyard yesterday, I decided to turn the dough into little bunnies.
100 ml warm milk / 100 ml di latte tiepido
25 g yeast / 25 gr lievito di birra
125 g sugar / 125 gr di zucchero
125 g quark / 125 gr di mascarpone
1/2 tsp salt / mezzo cucchiaino di sale
125 g butter / 125 gr di burro
2 eggs / 2 uova
Now, you combine all of the ingredients and let the dough sit for about 30 min. so that it has time to increase in size a bit.
You then kneed the dough one more time and you can start forming little bunnies.
I noticed, this is a lot of dough, so if you don’t plan on making a whole lot, just half the recipe and you will be still fine (and full!).
If you like, you can brush the bunnies a bit with milk or egg before putting them into the oven to receive a nice shine on them.
Lasciateli raffreddare completamente prima di metterli sullo stuzzicadenti. E decorateli a piacere!
And if you don’t like the whole skewer idea, just place them like that! I could also see them as cute place card holders for your Easter brunch!
