Ecco, come promesso, le foto del giorno del battesimo di Baby G. Come vi dicevo ieri, lo abbiamo celebrato lo scorso 26 Aprile, qui a Bologna, nella nostra Parrocchia. Sono venuti tutti i parenti, da tutta Italia, per festeggiare il nostro piccolino. E si sono uniti a noi anche alcuni dei nostri amici più cari.
Baby G è stato bravissimo e nonostante stesse dormendo qualche minuto prima del Battesimo, poi non ha pianto nemmeno un po’ quando il Prete gli ha versato l’Acqua Santa in testa… il nostro piccolo ometto!
As promised, here are Baby G’s Baptism photos. As I told you yesterday, we celebrated his baptism last April 26th, here in Bologna, in our Church. All our relatives came, from al over Italy to join us celebrating our little man. And some of our dearest friends joined us too.
Baby G was so good. And even though he was sleeping right before the Baptism, when the priest poured the water on his head he didn’t cry… our brave little man!
Dopo la cerimonia ci siamo spostati a San Lazzaro, alla Corte dell’Abbadessa per festeggiare con una cena davvero gustosissima! Ho pensato ad un allestimento molto semplice e un po’ romantico. E anche in questo caso ho usato un po’ di cose che avevo dai tempi del nostro matrimonio. Infatti su ogni tavolo c’erano dei centrini di quelli che avevo regalato come bomboniera al matrimonio e un barattolo quattro stagioni con dei fiorellini tutti colorati…
After the Ceremony we moved to San Lazzaro, at Corte dell’Abbadessa to celebrate with some delicious food! I thought of a simple and romantic set. And I got to use some of the things I had form our wedding too. In fact, on each table we put some crochet centerpieces I gave as favors at the wedding, and some mason jars with colorful little flowers…
Anche sul tavolo dei dolci ho usato tanti centrini che avevo già in case e gli stessi barattoli e fiori che c’erano sui tavoli. Una ghirlanda colorata sullo sfondo (presa da Paloma) e una vecchia cassetta con una piccola ghirlanda crochet (realizzata da Serena) per contenere i nostri favors. E poi la mia mamma aveva preparato una bellissima torta, con un volpino e tanti altri deliziosi oggettini e dei bellissimi cupcakes, mentre le zie ci hanno sorpreso con dei dolcissimi biscotti a tema.
I used some crochet centerpieces on the dessert table too and the same mason jars and flowers that I put on each table. A colorful paper garland on the back of it and a little crochet one on the crate I used to store the favors. My mom made the most beautiful cake, with a little fox and some other lovely things and some cupcakes, while my aunties made some sweet cookies too.
